Preparations and planning for our very first Monthly Market Day - April 2018 are coming along nicely. We're going to have a bunch of informative and practical workshops in the morning, market and food stalls all day and a traditional ground oven feast put on by the Arorangi - Cook Islands Association of Qld Inc. Summer Food Foresting

Anyone interested in being apart of some summer food foresting?

Come join us build the on site food forest here @[246778552109569:274:van Veen Organics] as we maintain and plant out during the summer season. You will get to see a number of easy to grow edible and medicinal plant species that you could also add to your permaculture and edible landscape. See what it takes to develop a sun tropical food forest.

All welcome but you will need to be sun smart and comfortable as we will be out in the food forest weeding, planting etc and wear comfortable gardening cloths. This event is suitable for the whole family.

You need to confirm your place as numbers are limited. No confirmation no place please do not just rock up call message etc first. If we do not get minimum number of people we will just continue to do what we do and will not be running this event.
