For all those who could not make it to Permablitz #09 on the 15th January, that's okay cause neither did we. The good news is the event has been rescheduled for Sunday the 13th of February and for all those who did get along - you were amazing! Together we formed a shovel wielding army who laid waste to the smelly slurry of torrid mud, grime and gunk that had engulfed the beautiful Jane Street Community Garden. Salvage teams roamed the surrounding streets recovering washed-up hardwood, edging and other recyclable goods destined for landfill. The garden now features a raised bed constructed from the innards of a pool table! In traditional blitz style the nosh was outstanding and had the ladies at the neighbouring sausage sizzle grumbling with the realisation that they'd lost touch with the demands of the modern aussie palette.
